Care Guide

Our pieces are crafted using carefully selected fabrics and traditional tailoring techniques. To preserve the quality, structure and detailing of your Indicoat garment, we recommend following the care guidance below.

Hand Wash Only

Indicoat garments should be hand washed only in cold water using a mild detergent. Gently rinse the garment without scrubbing or wringing the fabric.

Do Not Machine Wash

Please do not place garments in a washing machine. Machine washing can damage delicate fabrics, stitching and button detailing.

Do Not Tumble Dry

Garments should never be placed in a tumble dryer as heat can shrink or distort the fabric and structure.

Air Dry Naturally

After washing, gently remove excess water and allow the garment to air dry naturally on a hanger or flat surface, away from direct heat or sunlight.

Ironing

If required, iron on a low heat setting and avoid direct contact with decorative elements or buttons. Placing a cloth over the garment while ironing is recommended.

Storage

Store your garment on a hanger in a cool, dry place to maintain its shape and finish.

Tip: For special occasions or structured garments such as Nehru jackets, professional dry cleaning is also suitable if preferred.
